A Visual Journey

Smiles, sand, sun, and South of France. Believe it or not we were ACTUALLY laughing in this. It is a very happy place. Can you tell this was before the uni workload hit us?

This was actually one of my favourite days of my year abroad in France. We rented a car for the day and drove all along the coast to this beach. There’s quite a number of similar beaches – the general name for them are ‘Les Calanques’.

One of the many squares in Aix-En-Provence (they are ALL this beautiful!)

Sunsets in the South of France = happy Ro & happy toes

6 very smelly and tired girls – that day we hiked up a Mountain just outside of Aix called Sainte Victoire. If ever you’re in Aix you should do it. There’s quite a view from up there (bring a picnic and plenty of water!!)

Having a jolly old time on the boats in Xochimilco, drinking as many Indios as we can get our hands on. (Again we were ACTUALLY laughing here, I promise) – ps was suuuuper tempted to push Sophie into the water approx 5 seconds after this photo was taken.

My friend Lucas lives in a hostel in Mexico City, so this photo was taken there! They were having a pool/jacuzzi/yoga/meditation party. By far the best Sunday I have ever had !!!

Being serenaded at breakfast by a mariachi band in Coyoacan! (WARNING: breakfast in Mexico is NOT poached eggs on toast with granola. It’s very meaty tacos with salsa verde 4 dayssss)

A very colourful street in Puebla (a city 2 hours outside of Mexico City). My flat mate and I got a blabla car here from the city, and it was honestly one of the best journeys! We got on so well with the driver and his friend, we’ve actually stayed in touch and are meeting them tomorrow night for chelassss (cervezas)!

Two indigenous women in Cuernavaca, making offerings to the food god. I want to dress like the woman with the feathers when I come home, but even in liberal London I’d feel out of place.

So, so colorful, peaceful and relaxing to just look at the streets…..
The colourful street is one of my favourite photos – so aesthetically pleasing!
Ooo. Love the concept of a visual journey
